Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Vista XXVI by Fernando Zóbel was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,860.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Zóbel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Retiro in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 859,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Vista XXVI von Fernando Zóbel kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.860,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 240.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernando Zóbel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Retiro im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 859.500,00.
