In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Two Centuries: American Art, which included the work Bittersweet Cottage (Lumberville Studio Of Daniel Garber) by Fern Coppedge. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,810.25), 51% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fern Coppedge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Village Hillside, which sold at auction in June 2016 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,298.77).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Two Centuries: American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bittersweet Cottage (Lumberville Studio Of Daniel Garber) von Fern Coppedge zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 45.810,25) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fern Coppedge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Village Hillside beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 147.298,77) versteigert wurde.
