In May 2014 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Village Landscape by Fern Coppedge. The »bidding war« ended at USD 72,500.00 (€ 53,152.49), 45% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fern Coppedge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Village Hillside, which sold at auction in June 2016 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,298.77).

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village Landscape von Fern Coppedge zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 72.500,00 (€ 53.152,49) und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fern Coppedge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Village Hillside beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 147.298,77) versteigert wurde.
