The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,258.06), 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fern Coppedge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Village Hillside in June 2016 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,298.77).

Die Arbeit Little Stone House von Fern Coppedge wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.258,06) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fern Coppedge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Village Hillside im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 147.298,77).
