In May 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Winter Landscape by Fern Coppedge. The »bidding war« ended at USD 84,000.00 (€ 62,439.60), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fern Coppedge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Village Hillside, which sold at auction in June 2016 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,298.77).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Landscape von Fern Coppedge zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 62.439,60) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fern Coppedge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Village Hillside beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 147.298,77) versteigert wurde.
