Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fermín Aguayo could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Petit Nocturne Ii changed hands for USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,825.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fermín Aguayo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,097.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fermín Aguayo konnte im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Petit Nocturne Ii für USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.825,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fermín Aguayo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.097,34).
