Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ferdinand Bol achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in January 2015. In the Old Master and British Drawings auction, the work The Departure Of The Young Tobias sold for USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,038.09) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Bol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Boy, Said To Be The Artist'S Son, Aged 8 in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 5,189,000.00 (€ 7,356,259.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferdinand Bol erzielte im Januar 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings wurde die Arbeit The Departure Of The Young Tobias für USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.038,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Bol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Boy, Said To Be The Artist'S Son, Aged 8 im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.189.000,00 (€ 7.356.259,16).
