Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double portrait of a boy and girl, full-length, in a landscape by Ferdinand Bol was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 88,656.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Bol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Boy, Said To Be The Artist'S Son, Aged 8 in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 5,189,000.00 (€ 7,356,259.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double portrait of a boy and girl, full-length, in a landscape von Ferdinand Bol wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 88.656,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Bol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Boy, Said To Be The Artist'S Son, Aged 8 im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.189.000,00 (€ 7.356.259,16).
