The work Autumn Landscape by Fantchunpi was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 82,800.00 (€ 7,700.94), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fantchunpi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Fantchunpi wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 82.800,00 (€ 7.700,94) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fantchunpi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
