The work Bamboo in the Wind by Fantchunpi was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 34,500.00 (€ 3,208.72), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fantchunpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buddha in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bamboo in the Wind von Fantchunpi wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 34.500,00 (€ 3.208,72) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fantchunpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
