A top price for Fantchunpi
This artwork by Fantchunpi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Buddha sold for HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. This high result makes Buddha the most expensive artwork by Fantchunpi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fantchunpi erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Buddha für HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Buddha zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Fantchunpi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
