Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fantchunpi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work The Baby with Toy sold for HKD 253,000.00 (€ 23,530.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fantchunpi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Buddha sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fantchunpi erzielte im April 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit The Baby with Toy für HKD 253.000,00 (€ 23.530,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fantchunpi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
