Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Flower by Fantchunpi. The price achieved of HKD 82,800.00 (€ 7,700.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fantchunpi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower von Fantchunpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 82.800,00 (€ 7.700,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fantchunpi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
