This artwork by Fantchunpi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Orchid and Rock sold for HKD 46,000.00 (€ 4,278.30) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fantchunpi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fantchunpi erzielte im April 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Orchid and Rock für HKD 46.000,00 (€ 4.278,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fantchunpi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
