Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,899.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Holland Day achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Sebastian in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 195,043.60).
