In the Photographs auction, the work Marilyn Monroe at the gaming tables in Reno Nevada during filming of 'The Misfits' sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,539.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eve Arnold; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Marilyn, 1955-1960 sold at auction in December 2008 with the realized price of USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,451.33).
