In the Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) auction, the work One Above sold for GBP 39,650.00 (€ 46,055.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eva Hesse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 3,980,000.00 (€ 3,569,826.89).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eva Hesse erzielte im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) wurde die Arbeit One Above für GBP 39.650,00 (€ 46.055,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eva Hesse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No title im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.980.000,00 (€ 3.569.826,89).
