The work Portrait rose/bleu by Eugène Leroy was auctioned at Lempertz in Cologne in June 2021. The auction ended at the price of EUR 20,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugène Leroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 94,500.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait rose/bleu von Eugène Leroy kam im Juni 2021 bei Lempertz in Köln zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 20.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 16.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène Leroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 94.500,00.
