In September this year Phillips in 19 - held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included the work Portrait à la tache verte by Eugène Leroy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,940.00 (€ 27,940.00), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugène Leroy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 94,500.00.

Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 19 - die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait à la tache verte von Eugène Leroy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.940,00 (€ 27.940,00) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugène Leroy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 94.500,00 versteigert wurde.
