Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Voiliers Près D'Un Port Par Gros Temps by Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey was sold in the Old Master & XIXth Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2020. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bateaux échoués (Honfleur, Low Tide) in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 153,100.00 (€ 120,116.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Voiliers Près D'Un Port Par Gros Temps von Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bateaux échoués (Honfleur, Low Tide) im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 153.100,00 (€ 120.116,11).
