Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St. Hubert's Day (The Blessing of the Hounds) by Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,271.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bateaux échoués (Honfleur, Low Tide) in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 153,100.00 (€ 120,116.11).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.271,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
