Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Egyptian Spearess by Euan Uglow. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,672.56) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Euan Uglow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress in March this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egyptian Spearess von Euan Uglow zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.672,56) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Euan Uglow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35).
