In March 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Ethan Cook. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,605.55), 54% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ethan Cook; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Begin in one corner) sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of USD 50,400.00 (€ 45,434.06).

Im März 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ethan Cook zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 23.605,55) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ethan Cook; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Begin in one corner) im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 45.434,06).
