Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ethan Cook was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,795.00 (€ 10,199.36). Admittedly, works by Ethan Cook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Begin in one corner) in March last year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 45,434.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ethan Cook wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.795,00 (€ 10.199,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ethan Cook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Begin in one corner) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 45.434,06).
