Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Glob (Cuminho) by Ernesto Neto was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,074.37). Admittedly, works by Ernesto Neto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,299.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Glob (Cuminho) von Ernesto Neto kam im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.074,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernesto Neto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.299,08).
