Auction result well in line with expectations
The work ...!FAGO..., CITO, ...SE by Ernesto Neto was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,820.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernesto Neto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,299.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit ...!FAGO..., CITO, ...SE von Ernesto Neto wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.820,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernesto Neto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.299,08).
