Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Vamp by Equipo Crónica. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,186.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Equipo Crónica have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 132,500.00 (€ 173,304.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vamp von Equipo Crónica zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.186,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Equipo Crónica auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 132.500,00 (€ 173.304,80).
