Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour, which included the work Menina II by Equipo Crónica. The price achieved of EUR 47,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Equipo Crónica - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces), which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 132,500.00 (€ 173,304.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Menina II von Equipo Crónica zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 47.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Equipo Crónica mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 132.500,00 (€ 173.304,80) versteigert wurde.
