Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work La Jeunesse by Émile Munier. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,384.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Munier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 397,397.99).
