The work La Vierge En Buste by Émile Munier was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 11,152.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Munier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 397,397.99).

Die Arbeit La Vierge En Buste von Émile Munier wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.152,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Munier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 397.397,99).
