Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work Girl With A Basket Of Plums by Émile Munier. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,112.50 (€ 14,093.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Munier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 397,397.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl With A Basket Of Plums von Émile Munier zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.112,50 (€ 14.093,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Munier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 397.397,99).
