It achieved a price of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Elizabeth Strong-Cuevas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Othello in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 117,823.48).

Die Arbeit Yogi von Elizabeth Strong-Cuevas kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.930,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elizabeth Strong-Cuevas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Othello im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 117.823,48).
