Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Door with Shutters by Elisa Sighicelli was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in November 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,273.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elisa Sighicelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Iceland: Bathroom in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,019.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Door with Shutters von Elisa Sighicelli wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.273,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elisa Sighicelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Iceland: Bathroom im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.019,16).
