Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,860.00 (€ 21,456.73). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eliot Greenwald - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Night Car (Tall Tree), which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 54,747.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Night Car (vague distinction 4) von Eliot Greenwald kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.860,00 (€ 21.456,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eliot Greenwald mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Night Car (Tall Tree) beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 54.747,47) versteigert wurde.
