Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Night Car (Vague Distinction 12, Diptych)(Painted In 2021) by Eliot Greenwald for HKD 6,000.00 (€ 725.59). This price was achieved in the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art at China Guardian and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eliot Greenwald achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night Car (Tall Tree) in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 54,747.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Night Car (Vague Distinction 12, Diptych)(Painted In 2021) von Eliot Greenwald für HKD 6.000,00 (€ 725,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eliot Greenwald erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night Car (Tall Tree) im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 54.747,47).
