Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eleanore Mikus could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 559.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eleanore Mikus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tablet 183 in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 39,024.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eleanore Mikus konnte im September 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 625,00 (€ 559,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eleanore Mikus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tablet 183 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 39.024,75).
