A top price for Édouard Goerg - as previously expected
In February 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Le Portrait by Édouard Goerg. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,925.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Portrait is the most expensive artwork by Édouard Goerg that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Portrait von Édouard Goerg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.925,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Le Portrait das teuerste Kunstwerk von Édouard Goerg, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
