In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Red Barns (After the Harvest) by Edmund Lewandowski. The »bidding war« ended at USD 31,500.00 (€ 29,354.21), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Edmund Lewandowski have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,065.22) in April this year for the work Studio Rooftop.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Barns (After the Harvest) von Edmund Lewandowski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 31.500,00 (€ 29.354,21) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Edmund Lewandowski haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.065,22) im April diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Studio Rooftop beobachtet.
