Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pangeran kecil berhidung panjang (The tiny prince with the long nose) by Eddie Hara was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,194.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eddie Hara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Crowded Universe, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pangeran kecil berhidung panjang (The tiny prince with the long nose) von Eddie Hara kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.194,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eddie Hara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Crowded Universe beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert wurde.
