Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Eddie Hara was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,690.37). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eddie Hara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Crowded Universe, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Eddie Hara wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.690,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eddie Hara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Crowded Universe beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert wurde.
