Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Silent cries, mighty echoes by Eddie Hara. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 4,630.86). Admittedly, works by Eddie Hara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work My Crowded Universe in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Silent cries, mighty echoes von Eddie Hara zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 4.630,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eddie Hara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit My Crowded Universe im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31).
