This work of art by Eddie Arning could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Blue Frog changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 673.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eddie Arning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tricia Got Her Rose Garden, It Was the Only Thing to Do After the Mule Died, and Untitled (Crow with Yellow Background), circa 1975-1970, three drawings in January 2019 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,547.93).
