In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Outsider Art, which included the work Untitled (Canadian Club) by Eddie Arning. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,341.05), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Eddie Arning have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,547.93) in January 2019 for the work Tricia Got Her Rose Garden, It Was the Only Thing to Do After the Mule Died, and Untitled (Crow with Yellow Background), circa 1975-1970, three drawings.
