The work Woman with Dog on Blue by Eddie Arning was sold in the Outsider and Vernacular Art auction at Christies in New York in January 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,472.19), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eddie Arning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tricia Got Her Rose Garden, It Was the Only Thing to Do After the Mule Died, and Untitled (Crow with Yellow Background), circa 1975-1970, three drawings, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,547.93).

Die Arbeit Woman with Dog on Blue von Eddie Arning wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.472,19) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eddie Arning mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tricia Got Her Rose Garden, It Was the Only Thing to Do After the Mule Died, and Untitled (Crow with Yellow Background), circa 1975-1970, three drawings beobachtet, die im Januar 2019 für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.547,93) versteigert wurde.
