In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Vertical 7 (in 7 parts) by Edda Renouf. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,202.18), 65% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Edda Renouf; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot High Frequency Drawing #6 sold at auction in March 2019 with the realized price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,349.66).

Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vertical 7 (in 7 parts) von Edda Renouf zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.202,18) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Edda Renouf; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit High Frequency Drawing #6 im März 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.349,66).
