Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work (i) Morning #1 by Edda Renouf was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edda Renouf achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work High Frequency Drawing #6 in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,349.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit (i) Morning #1 von Edda Renouf im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edda Renouf erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit High Frequency Drawing #6 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.349,66).
