In April 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary, which included the work Incised lines by Edda Renouf. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edda Renouf - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work High Frequency Drawing #6, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,349.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Incised lines von Edda Renouf zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Edda Renouf mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit High Frequency Drawing #6 beobachtet, die im März 2019 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.349,66) versteigert wurde.
