This artwork by Edda Renouf achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2005. In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work Random Progression (in five parts) sold for USD 3,120.00 (€ 2,530.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edda Renouf - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work High Frequency Drawing #6, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,349.66).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Edda Renouf erzielte im August 2005 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE wurde die Arbeit Random Progression (in five parts) für USD 3.120,00 (€ 2.530,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Edda Renouf mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit High Frequency Drawing #6 beobachtet, die im März 2019 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.349,66) versteigert wurde.
