A top price for John Murray - as previously expected
In October 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation, which included the work Pavillion and Mosque Attached to the Taj by John Murray. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,755.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pavillion and Mosque Attached to the Taj is the most expensive artwork by John Murray that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pavillion and Mosque Attached to the Taj von John Murray zur Versteigerung kam.
