Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Murray could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation auction, the work Telegraph Office Nynee Tal (negative and positive) changed hands for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,507.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Murray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pavillion and Mosque Attached to the Taj in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,755.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
